Bratislava to Košice in the first 2 days

Bratislava, Slovakia - June 7

We arrived at the Vienna airport, and thanks to the kindness of friends in Liptovský Mikuláš, we were driven to Bratislava by members of the Bishop's staff.  We had an hour or so to walk around the old town section.

Bobrovec, Slovakia - June 8

The bell tower and Maypole still standing in Bobrovec, on our way to the bus station to go to school the next day. 

We spent the day at school and seeing many students, colleagues, other staff members, and friends!  After school we had a wonderful time getting together with Erik Jusko and his wife Janka and their kids Riško and Miška. No photos!  :-(

Košice, Slovakia - June 9

Friday night, Tim played basketball with his wonderful friends at the gym in Vrbica, while I attended a concert in Košice (in eastern Slovakia) with dear friend Eva.  

The concert featured the Slovak Accordion Orchestra, conducted by Eva's husband, Ivan Mráz.

Three famous and popular Slovak singers were also featured on the program.
